GREEN ABYSS

This Blancpain XSwatch watch honors Blancpain’s Fifty Fathoms, the first true diver’s watch.Its green case and crown are made of Bioceramic material. The word “Swatch” isinscribed on the outer left side of the case. It has a black dial with a darkgreen hue and features a water contact indicator at 6 o'clock. The hourindexes, hour, and minute hands, the tip of the seconds hand as well as the scaleon the bezel, are enriched with Grade A vintage Super-LumiNova® for outstandinglegibility in the dark. The watch features a green unidirectional Bioceramicbezel and biosourced glass. The SISTEM51 mechanical movement is visible througha transparent sapphire glass caseback and features a digital print of the oceanfloor and the Felimare picta nudibranch in digital print. Five inspirationalinscriptions can be found on the back of the watch: PASSION FOR DIVING –LICENCE TO EXPLORE – OCEAN BREATH – PROTECT WHAT YOU LOVE and IMMERSE YOURSELF.The two-piece NATO-style strap is made from recycled fishing nets and providesfull visibility of the movement. The pin buckle and loops are made ofBioceramic material.

The watches in theBioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms Collection are equipped with Swatch’s mechanicalmovement SISTEM51. This Swiss-made mechanism features just 51 parts includingonly one central screw, has a 90-hour autonomy and is fully anti-magneticthanks to its hairspring made with Nivachron™, ensuring high precision.

In true Swatchfashion, every SISTEM51 movement is visible thanks to a transparent displayback. All watches in the Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms Collection feature anillustration of an ocean and a colorful nudibranch.

BIOCERAMIC

Developed andpatented by Swatch, Bioceramic is a unique blend of two thirds ceramic used inhigh-end watchmaking and one third biosourced material derived from castor oil,resulting in a very durable, scratch-resistant product with a silky mattefinish.
