ThisBlancpain X Swatch watch honors Blancpain’s Fifty Fathoms, the first truediver’s watch. Its blue case and crown are made of Bioceramic material. Theword “Swatch” is inscribed on the outer left side of the case. The metaldial is printed in several layers of color for a gradient effect. The hourindexes, hour, and minute hands, as well as the scale on the bezel, areenriched with Grade A Super-LumiNova® for outstanding legibility in thedark. The one-direction rotating ocean blue-colored Bioceramic bezel, andbiosourced glass are treated with an anti-scratch coating. The SISTEM51mechanical movement is visible thanks to a transparent sapphire glass andfeatures an illustration of the Atlantic Ocean and the Glaucus Atlanticus nudibranch in digitalprint. Five inspirational inscriptions can be found on the back of thewatch: PASSION FOR DIVING – LICENCE TO EXPLORE – OCEAN BREATH – PROTECT WHATYOU LOVE and IMMERSE YOURSELF. The NATO strap is made of recycled fishingnets that were removed from the sea. The pin buckle and loops are made ofBioceramic material.
